‘Tails’ from Mauritius: The Adventures of Canada’s 31st New Noah

with Stephanie Winton

Recorded September 2023

2023’s annual Canadian Herpetological Society Conference was hosted by our very own Hannah McCurdy-Adams. Held at Carleton University, members from all over Canada came together to address specific issues relevant to amphibian and reptile research and conservation. From workshops on amphibian and reptile genomics to sessions on salamander conservation, the annual conference was a huge success!

In this clip, Stephanie Winton, the Canadian Species Initiative Coordinator gives a travelogue presentation on her experience working on reptile conservation projects in Mauritius as the 31st Canada’s New Noah.
