Yes it’s time to release our baby turtles at the site their mothers chose to lay their eggs in June. Five nests already hatched here at the zoo. The releases were uneventful, fortunately, except that it is certainly a critical moment for hatchling survival. We wish them good luck! But work is not done yet… we still have four incubating nests.
