Qu'est-ce que le Programme de rétablissement de la grenouille maculée de l'Oregon ? Depuis 2010, CFC élève la grenouille maculée de l'Oregon en voie de disparition au zoo du Grand Vancouver, et réintroduit des milliers de têtards et de grenouillettes dans les zones humides de la vallée du Fraser en C.-B. Il faut des années d'observation minutieuse, de collaboration, d'ingéniosité et parfois un peu de chance pour percer le code d'élevage d'espèces spécifiques. Pendant plusieurs années, nos progrès étaient très limités. Mais notre équipe a persévéré. Aujourd'hui, CFC a mis au point des techniques d'élevage qui renversent la tendance pour cette espèce.
To celebrate Endangered Species Week, WPC is putting the spotlight on endangered Canadian species who desperately need our help.
This spotlight is on the Oregon spotted frog, which is listed as Endangered in Canada.
One of the best starting points in saving an endangered animal is to learn about what makes that animal special. We’ve pulled together some quick and easy ways for you to learn about the Oregon spotted frog.

Download our kids activity sheets in full colour or black and white colouring sheets. Each of the six different sheets has facts about a different animal with a fun activity on the back where your kids can put their knowledge to the test.
