2022 Design Competition

WPC is kicking off a community vote to select one design as a limited 2022 release for our endangered species fundraising apparel.
Three contenders for the 2022 design are shown on this page. Only one will be made available on apparel for this year. You get to decide which one!

WPC is kicking off a community vote to select one design as a limited 2022 release for our endangered species fundraising apparel.
Three contenders for the 2022 design are shown on this page. Only one will be made available on apparel for this year. You get to decide which one!

How it works: Vote on your favourite design. The design with the most votes on June 17th will be made available on three limited release fundraising items: an organic cotton tee, a fanny pack, and a metal travel mug. The items will be for sale from June to December 2022. After December the design will be retired. Get your items while you can!

Please note: The apparel will be made available for sale on this page after the winning design is selected.

 

Loggerhead Shrike

Did you know?  The eastern loggerhead shrike only has two remaining populations in Canada but WPC is bolstering their numbers with a conservation breeding and release program.  We can safely say that without WPC’s work, this bird would already have disappeared from Canada.

Taylor’s Checkerspot

Did you know?  One third of the food we eat needs native pollinators like the bees and butterflies. Sadly, many species are at risk of extinction. Recovery efforts like WPC’s Taylor’s checkerspot conservation breeding program are trying to save them before it’s too late!

Blue Racer

Did you know? There is only one remaining population of blue racers left in Canada, found only on Pelee Island. WPC is working with partners on the island to understand what exactly is needed and how best we can bring this species back from the brink.
