About the site:
Bunchberry Meadows is a 260 ha conservation site with intact mixedwood boreal forest habitat and some previously disturbed areas that require restoration. The total area needing restoration is 1.37 ha. The Nature Conservancy of Canada and Edmonton Area Land Trust are currently working on restoring these areas to native habitat, and plan to supplement the planned plantings with wildflower seeds through Wildlife Preservation Canada. Bunchberry Meadows is one of the NCC’s Nature Destinations.
