Handcrafted for conservation
Wildlife Preservation Canada has partnered with Guelph Holzkünste for a new way to give back to Canadian wildlife!
Until June 8, enter for your chance to win a limited edition set of wooden wall art, featuring WPC species!
These layered wooden wall art pieces are handcrafted by Guelph Holzkünste, a duo of artists located in Guelph, Ontario. Each artwork begins as an illustration, which is then laser-cut into individual wooden components. These components are hand stained to represent each colour of the design, creating depth, shadow, and texture.
To give back to the wildlife that inspires their art, Guelph Holzkünste is creating a special collection featuring the at-risk species that Wildlife Preservation Canada works to protect. A portion of proceeds from this collection will go directly to our programs. To celebrate the launch of this collection, we are giving away the first set for free!
The first set includes wooden art pieces featuring the eastern loggerhead shrike, the western painted turtle, and the Butler’s gartersnake.
